In this employee spotlight, we meet Isak Nyberg, Partnership Manager, who works closely with partners across markets to unlock new opportunities. In this spotlight, he talks about working across borders, aligning with partners, and contributing to a more efficient global payments ecosystem.

Can you tell us about your background and how you ended up at Centiglobe?

I did a few startups during university and when I got my first “real job” after university I missed the startup vibe, trying to create something new and believing we could change the world. So after a year working with recruitment, consultancies and sales I wanted to get back building something. Then I got a recommendation from a friend to talk with Henrik (Gradin ed. note), and then I started writing Centiglobes first Vinnova application during christmas 2018.

What does your role at Centiglobe involve?

I have had my hands in everything from recruitment, accounting to sales at Centiglobe, but as the team has grown I now I mainly work with our sales efforts around the globe, as well as growing our partner network. Mainly focusing on events and expanding our footprint across the globe.

What makes working at Centiglobe unique for you?

I love the startup-vibe combined with the unique knowledge we have collected over the years. We are a great team with a lot of knowledge, but still fun and open minded!

What shifts in the payments landscape excite you most right now, and how does Centiglobe's work fit into that picture?

I’m really excited about how tokenization is starting to actually get picked up in traditional banking. How real world assets like shares, real estate, ETF are being tokenized and also fractionalized. These assets will soon reach retail investors and then we will become a natural integration for Delivery vs. Payments.
