Welcome Oskar Sörling to Centiglobe

We’re excited to welcome Oskar Sörling, who recently joined Centiglobe’s Marketing team as Marketing and Communications Manager. Oskar brings a diverse background spanning telecom and nuclear tech, most recently at LEKAB Communication Systems.

We asked him a few questions so you can get to know him better:

1. Could you tell us a bit about yourself and your background? What knowledge and competences do you bring to Centiglobe?

"I’m a full-stack marketeer with a background in telecom and nuclear tech. Most recently, I worked at the business messaging provider Lekab Communication Systems, where I took on responsibilities across UX/UI design, CRM, branding, performance marketing, and content creation.

Web design was my first love in marketing, and it still shapes the way I approach my work today. I enjoy finding ways to combine creativity and strategy to make complex ideas easy to understand and engaging to audiences."

2. What attracted you to join Centiglobe, and why did you choose to work here?

"What attracted me to Centiglobe was the chance to join a company that’s addressing a real global challenge. I was inspired by the clarity of its mission and the opportunity to learn and grow in a new industry. For me, it felt like the right place to contribute to something important while working with a team that’s both ambitious and supportive."

3. What are you most excited to work on here at Centiglobe?

"I see a huge opportunity to grow and strengthen Centiglobe’s marketing. The company is at the stage where we can ramp up our communication efforts, highlight the unique value we bring, and really put our brand on the map. Being part of that journey is something I’m very excited about."

4. Apart from your professional pursuits, what hobbies or activities do you enjoy outside of work?

"Music is a big part of my life. I play guitar in one band and drums in another, and I love both performing live and recording songs. Besides music, I enjoy sports, working out, nature, traveling and of course spending time with family and friends."

5. If you were a fictional character, who would you be and why?

"I’d pick Spider-Man. He can reach places no one else can, he’s agile, creative, and let’s be honest, swinging between skyscrapers looks like a lot of fun."

6. If you could have a superpower for a day, what would it be, and how would you use it?

"Teleportation would be my choice. I’d spend the day jumping across the world, visiting incredible places, meeting new people, and packing in as many experiences as possible."

7. If you could solve one challenge in fintech overnight, what would it be, and why?

"Without a doubt: the inefficiency of cross-border payments. Moving money across borders the traditional way is still too slow and too complicated. Solving that challenge unlocks enormous value for banks, PSPs, and companies – which is exactly what Centiglobe is doing."

We’re very happy to have Oskar on board as Centiglobe continues to expand and strengthen its position in the global payments landscape.
